Where will our session take place?
All of my photographs are done on location rather than in a studio. I really love it when my clients choose their own locations. A place that is special to you will result in very special pictures. However, I have a lot of location ideas so if you are having difficulty thinking of a meaningful location I will find a beautiful one instead!

When will our session take place?
My favorite time of day to shoot is about an hour before sunset. This allows us to use the most beautiful natural light and gives us plenty of time so we don't feel rushed. We can schedule sessions at other times as well, but late afternoon is always my preference.

How long does a session last?
A typical session will last around an hour. However, this is extremely flexible and I will make sure to keep shooting until we are all confident we have captured great pictures.

When will I get my photos?
You will receive an e-mail from me with a link to a website where you can view your photos as well as order your prints within 2 weeks of your session. If you ordered a CD of the images taken during your session it will be mailed within those 2 weeks as well.

When should I schedule my newborn's session?
Within 10 days of birth. This is the time newborns are their sleepiest and that allows us the most flexibility for newborn photos. Newborn sessions can last anywhere from 1-2 hours because newborns demand flexibility. :) It is also a good idea to turn up the heat before the session is to begin so your baby won't mind being naked. I know those first few days with a new baby can be tough but you will be so glad you have these photos to remember them once that little baby isn't so little anymore. Have I mentioned the key to getting great shots of newborns is to be flexible? :)
